These vases are special because they are sculpted over a salvaged plastic shell, to create a piece that can hold water, despite being made of paper. A part of my JAW (just add water) collection, this piece is suitable for wet use and shatterproof. Makes a beautiful decorative holder for your favorite diffuser oil and reeds, too! Papier maché is a tough, yet lightweight material. Though it won't shatter if dropped, it can be chipped, scuffed, or otherwise damaged if abused. Though the inside is plastic and the outside is carefully sealed, avoid submersion in water for extended periods of time. Finished with several layers of matte varnish. Intended for light use and decor. Not food safe. Wipe clean with a damp cloth. *You will receive the vase you select only. Other items shown are for example only/ not included.
Recycling and conservation are important to me. Unless otherwise indicated, ALL of my papier mache items are made from recycled paper and other reclaimed materials, not pre-shredded storebought mache.
