Handmade Crackled Green Paper Mache and Plastic Cloche Jar: Sylvia

A rustic, handmade paper mache cloche. A functional piece made with everyday use in mind. A flexible, shatterproof plastic jar, topped with sturdy hand sculpted papier mache top and handle. The paper mache is painted foliage green and is finished with a crackled effect to add texture and beauty to the piece. Embellished around the bottom with brilliant copper.
This piece is meant for kitchen, garden, or other household use. In the kitchen, cover sweet treats until ready to serve. For the garden, cover seedlings in a sunny window to create a mini greenhouse that protects them and encourages growth. Or use it to protect and display cherished collectables or keepsakes. And unlike the gorgeous glass versions, never worry about breakage.
Finished with several layers of sealant for moisture resistance and durability. Intended for light use and decor. Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Not dishwasher safe.
