Handmade Decorative Paper Mache Teacup: Tea with Friends

A one of a kind paper mache teacup sculpture. I hand sculpted this papier mache piece from salvaged papers, plastic, and wire. Handpainted in acrylics and metallic inks, then sealed inside and out to protect the piece. The outside has a matte finish, while the inside features a high gloss sealant to mimic a beautiful style of ceramics called lusterware. Since this piece is paper, it is nonbreakable. Recycling and conservation is important to me. Unless otherwise indicated, ALL of my papier mache items are made from recycled paper and other reclaimed materials, not preshredded storebought mache.
