Handmade Decorative Rustic Paper Mache Candleholder with Glass Cup

A one of a kind functional paper mache candleholder. I hand sculpted this papier mache piece from salvaged papers. Handpainted in metallic acrylics, distressed, then sealed to protect it. The distressed metallic colors against the salvaged brown paper create the look of an aged wood piece. The mottled foil glass cup fits securely into the top and brings out the flecks of metallic paint on the papier mache. Finished on the bottom with felt to protect your surfaces.

Since this piece is paper, it is nonbreakable (except for the glass cup). Use as you would a wooden candleholder- burn candles only inside the glass cup*, not in the papier mache portion. Tea light candles or LED candles are recommended for safety and ease of use. This piece is one of a kind, a perfect addition to your existing collection.

Recycling and conservation is important to me. Unless otherwise indicated, ALL of my papier mache items are made from recycled paper and other reclaimed materials, not preshredded storebought mache.
