Handmade Hot Pink and Gold Miniature Paper Mache Wet Vase Recycled Decor: Rhodes

A hot pink and gold miniature paper mache vase. A handmade vase, created from salvaged paper and plastic. I shredded old newspapers, junk mail, love letters, etc., and created a clay-like pulp, to form this unique little vessel. Sculpted with a textured pattern on the top to emulate a hammered effect. Handpainted hot pink and brilliant metallic gold to add modern fun wherever it lands. Made for decor on its own, or for use with wet or dry floral.

This vase is special because it is sculpted over a salvaged plastic shell, to create a piece that can hold water, despite being made of paper. A part of my JAW (just add water) collection, this piece is suitable for wet use and shatterproof. Makes a beautiful decorative holder for your favorite diffuser oil and reeds, too! Papier maché is a tough, yet lightweight material. Though it won't shatter if dropped, it can be chipped, scuffed, or otherwise damaged if abused. Guard against heavy weights and excessive moisture. Finished with several layers of matte varnish. Intended for light use and decor. Not food safe. Wipe clean with a damp cloth.
