A silver plated ring with a colorful paper bead. This is a size 6 sterling silver plated ring embellished with a handmade paper bead. I make paper beads from salvaged magazines, catalogs, comics, and book pages. I finish them with several layers of high gloss sealant for durability and moisture resistance. This particular bead was made from salvaged Sunday comics. The result is an abstract swirl of muted pastel colors. A lovely piece of artsy, eco-friendly style. Arrives in a drawstring organza bag, ready to give or store.
